Personal Branding Photography

What is personal branding photography?

Personal Brand photography is photography tailored to your brand. It is a type of photography session for entrepreneurs who want to be the face of their business. Their first impression. Their storefront. Each shot is captured with intent and coincide with your brand so you can be consistent and show up every time. Investing in a session like this is definitely worth your time and money if you are super busy and always need fresh content. People buy from those they Know, Like, and Trust. If you keep a consistent social media presence, people will start to recognize you and will be prone to purchase from you. They say that it takes someone at least 7 times before they go ahead with a purchase they see on the internet. Now, this is different from product photography which is shooting all of your inventory for a website like Shopify. Although this can be part of your photography with River Eight & Co, you would also still need photos to promote your online store or brick and mortar. Everything you need to advertise and market needs an image and why not better than using your photos and not some generic stock images that may not even fit your brand.

Who needs personal branding photography?

Anybody who owns a business would benefit from getting professional branding photos done. Fitness experts, consultants, coaches, social media influencers, small business owners, musicians, authors, or bloggers and the list goes on… Every entrepreneur can benefit from a well-planned branding session with a skilled photographer. This will make you look like an expert in your field and attract more dream clients. The key is to find the right photographer for you. That is why I offer a 30-minute discovery call to make sure we are a good fit. I want to know everything about your business, your goals, and your dreams. I can’t wait to hear all about it.

Why do YOU need Personal branding photography?

Why wouldn’t you! This will set you apart from your competition. You will also be portrayed as a “legit” professional business and taken seriously. People will get to know you through your social media and you will become relatable to them. You want to tell your story. This is a chance to show your personality. They will feel like they know you, trust you, and purchase from you. You will be a “real person” to them. By photographing with intent and strategy, you will attract your dream clients. Once you start posting regularly, I want you to look at your insights and google analytics. This will for sure increase your engagement and bring you more business. Also, don’t forget this is tax-deductible!! WOO HOO!

Where is this usually done?

This all depends on what type of business you have. If you have strictly an online business and not a brick and mortar business, we can have photos of you on your laptop at a cafe, or even your home office. There are plenty of places we can shoot even at the beach. For a brick and mortar business, we can do it at your location, do some lifestyle images, and some close-ups, headshots, layflats, and some product shots. All of just mentioned can be done anywhere really. Also depending on what type of business you have, locations may change. This will all be discussed in our consultation.

How long till I get my photos?

Within 1 week, you will receive your unedited gallery. Then you will be able to pick out your images and then I will be able to deliver your edited gallery in about 3 weeks. This will be a downloadable link and you can go ahead and start using them for your content. After this point, if you are not sure how to post them or what to do with them, I offer to coach with a 2-hour minimum. If you would like someone to show you how to post them or have all of that done for you, I do have sources I can introduce you to help you out.  I will also give you a guide on how to resize some of the images so you can make sure you have great photos for each social media platform. We will also go over free apps such as:
  • Canva
  • Lightroom Mobile
  • Inshot

I think above mentioned all great if you know exactly what you want but what if you aren’t sure?? Of course, I have clients that maybe unsure yet or just starting out. We can brainstorm together and figure out what is best for your business right now. If you want to get a head start, these are a few things you can work on.

    1. Take the enneagram test: This will help you learn more about yourself and how you can conduct your business.

  1. Who is your ideal client?  This is a huge topic that can go on for pages. But you need to know who your ideal client avatar is in order to figure out how to attract that person. This article will help you explain a lot. https://www.digitalmarketer.com/blog/customer-avatar-worksheet/
  1. Do you have a brand board? This is very important to have so I can make sure our photoshoot matches your brand. If you need a brand board, please reach out to me and I can have brand board expert reach out to you.

Some things on a brand board are your colors, logos, fonts, and more! Check out this link below. I think it explains way better than me! https://gina-alyse.com/2016/02/brand-board-template.html/

These three things should be a great start. Of course we go into detail about where you want to go with your business.

Social media platforms you might want to consider to be on. You don’t have to be on all. You don’t want to spread yourself to thin. Again, this will all depend on where your ideal client avatar is.
